The TANF Eligibility Worker’s primary duties are to determine eligibility and benefit amount, and to make appropriate referrals based on the needs of the household.
The TANF Eligibility Worker must be familiar with the appropriate services and supports available to households in the community and use this knowledge to assist clients in accessing appropriate services and support.
The computer system contains a database of services and corresponding providers that may be available to the household. Following is a listing of available services:

Referrals to the Child Support Division and the Jobs Opportunities and Basic Skills (JOBS) program are mandatory.
